Do you accept my insurance?

We are a preferred provider for most major private, Medicare Part D, and medical assistance insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna Health Spring, CVSCaremark, Gateway, Humana, PACE, SilverScript and many others.

Will I pay more for my prescriptions at Stauffer's than at other pharmacies?

In almost all cases, prescription copays are consistent between pharmacies. You should not pay more at Stauffer's Drug Store than you would at CVS or Walmart.

What if I don't have insurance?

Our Stauffercare discount program, offered free of charge, provides competitive drug prices for those without prescription insurance.

What services are offered at your drive-thru?

Our drive-thru is open the same hours as our store and offers you the chance to conduct all of the same transactions you would conduct in-store from the convenience of your car. If you would like to drop off a prescription at the drive-thru and wait while it is filled, you will be offered a restaurant style pager and asked to wait in our specially designated parking area.

Do you bill Medicare part B?

We are a contracted Medicare B provider for diabetic testing supplies and nebulizer solution. We can bill lancets, Bayer brand (Contour, Contour Next, and Breeze 2) test strips, and nebulizer solutions (Proventil, DuoNeb, etc.) to Medicare part B. Due to Medicare regulations, prescriptions billed to Medicare part B must be picked up on the same day they are filled and cannot be delivered.

Can I drop off prescriptions after hours?

There is a secure dropbox located in our drive-thru lane that allows you to drop off prescriptions at any time. Prescriptions left in the box outside of business hours will be processed on the morning of the next business day. During regular business hours, we ask that you drop off prescriptions inside the store or at the drive-thru window.

Do you offer delivery?

We offer free, once daily delivery for all residents of Garden Spot Village and Fairmount Homes retirement communities. Our delivery drivers leave the store after we close, typically between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. We are also able to ship prescriptions to your home via the U.S. Postal Service.

What forms of payment do you accept?

In store we accept cash, check, and all credit, debit and FSA/HSA cards with a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover logo. Deliveries may be charged to a credit card on file or to a store charge account that is invoiced once monthly. Charge account payments may be made via the same methods.

Do you take back prescription drugs for disposal?

No, we do not. In New Holland, old drugs can be disposed of at the New Holland Police Department, located at 436 E Main St. on weekdays betweeen 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. To find other drug dropoff locations in Pennsylvania, please visit the the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs website.
